Dn Francis Akkarapattiakal was born on 1995 in India from Joseph Akkarapattiakal and Paulin. Jacob is his brother.
The family left India when he was one year old and migrated to Brunei. Studied in Brunei at Seri Mulia Sarjana International School till Grade 10. In 2011, migrated to Canada. Did high school education at Senator Occonor Catholic School. Following that, studied BSc Human Biology at the University of Toronto
Studied philosophy in Rome from 2017-2020 at Collegio Maria Mater Ecclessiae. Finished his Theology at St. Thomas Apostolic Seminary, Kerala, India. Did his Pastoral Ministries at Veliyanad and Cheruvally parishes. Received the Order Karoya in 2021, Subdiaconate in 2022 and Diaconate in 2023.
His Priestly Ordination and First Holy Qurbana is on November 18, 2023 at St Thomas FORANE Parish, Scarborugh.
